Elaine United States/Massachusetts/Woburn [Aug 30, 2006] I've had Verizon for about five years here in Massachusetts. I very rarely drop calls. I do know friends and family who have T-Mobile in Massachusetts and their coverage is spotty and they drop calls all of the time. Folks tend to pick a phone first because it looks "cool". Wrong, Wrong, Wrong!!! Pick a carrier who has several towers in your area. Then pick the phone. The phone is only as good as the carrier. And Verizon is the best for the New England area. |
Carol United States/Colorado/Loveland [Aug 06, 2006] Why have a cell phone if you don't get important messages until a week or so later!!!!!What is wrong with this picture???? They get the bucks and customers get screwed! They never want to give you any refund of any kind! Lots of dead zones too. People deserve month to month contracts so they don't have to stay with a company they don't like! |
samantha United States/illinois/chicago [Jul 28, 2006] i think verizon rocks!! its truely a good company. just an informative tip, do not go to the ciruit city store to buy your verizon phone, b cuz they screw u over big time! otherwise, they r a fair company. also their phones have v-cast and get it to go, those are two things other phone companies do not have! SO CHOOSE THE RELIABLE SERVICE... VERIZON |
Donna United States/Virginia/Fairfax [Jun 30, 2006] I've tolerated Verizon's medicore service and coverage for years. The store salesman are misleading; I get voice messages days after they are sent; dropped calls; lousy reception. When they changed my month to month contract to a two year commitment without me knowing - AND still showing the old plan on my monthly bill - that was the last straw. |
J. Beverly United States/Virginia/Stafford [Jun 20, 2006] I've only had Verizon for a month and because their distributor told me my free time (for an extra charge) was from 7pm until 7am, I thought I was okay until I received my first bill of $812.22 Verizon now informed me that it was not their fault and I have to pay the entire amount. You would think they would do more to protect their customers from this type of fraud. |
Joe Ramos United States/calif/Los Angeles [Jun 01, 2006] I use to have "Nextel" and there service is W E A K !......I had so many dropped calls and numerous dead zone throughout numerous freeway routes. When I changed over to Verizon, I noticed a big difference in service and customer service. I've had only a very few dropped calls in the past year.
I'm happy with verizon and most of friends have the verizon. We have shared the same thoughts and saved a lot of money as well. |
Michael Russell United States/Idaho/careywood [Apr 12, 2006] Verizion has the worst service of all cell phone Co. I've used AT&T, Cingular. More droped calls, poor reception. Voice messages not recieved for 2 weeks, They misrepresent their service plans and charges, change contract time when they want to. Shut off services after recieving payment when account is not delinquent causing charges to be applied from retail store ($400.00)then refuse to make it right and then expect you to pay early termination fees as well when you do not cancel services and are not delinquent im paying your bill. They are rude and inconciderate |
