Dustin United States/Oregon/portland [Jan 30, 2007] I have been with Verizon for 6 years; coverage has been good but I just had the worst customer service expereience of my life. In store help was horrible-Tanasbourne Store Portland Or. I tried ordering on-line and had problems so I called customer service which could not resolve my problem. I would not recommend!! |
sharon boyer United States/ohio/hilliard [Jan 12, 2007] i like verzion there great about not sending you a bill so they cant shut it off and charge you rehook up charge had two phones lost one stiil had to pay for two my friend who is ill has other phone to call emgerancy they tell he's not allowed to usew that phone when my contract is up i'll never have another cell that has contracts they suck when it comes to service |
Vlad United States/New York/Rochester [Dec 29, 2006] Verizon has the worst coverage. My job requires me to travel to different states very often and as soon as i leave the town my phone becomes unusable. It constantly drops calls and most of the time has very poor reception. I have allready purchased the newest, most sophisticated equipment available but it did not help. Their represantatives and their service plans are misleadig. Service can get shut off for no reason.Charges that are applied, sometimes even they can't explain. Service reps are rude and dishonest. |
kelley United States/utah/salina [Dec 18, 2006] i want to know my cell phone bill
please |
Cherie United States/California/Mission Viejo [Nov 04, 2006] Got all the "bars" and super reception everywhere in N. Georgia and zero dropped calls. Have had "Get New Every 2" years and renewed for the 3rd time (6yrs) here in Calif. Can't get ANY signal at home! unless we stand in driveway and that lasts only a few minutes if that. Or have to drive entirely out of neighborhood to get a signal. They are playing dumb and say to "record where the bad reception and dropped calls happen". Will NOT EVER say where their towers are located. About ready to cancel altogether but have 1.5 yrs left...also some voicemails do take 2 weeks to come through. We are ready to switch. |
Jon United States/Tennessee/Cowan [Oct 27, 2006] My family has been with Verizon for about 10 years now. We have been very pleased every year. Customer support is very helpful, and they resolve my problems quickly. We live in an area where coverage is sometimes low, but my phone usually regains signal within a moment or two. Verizon and Cingular are the only two carriers around here. Verizon is by far better. Several of my friends have Cingular and are wanting to switch to Verizon. Verizon deserves 5 stars! |
john United States/florida/lake wales [Oct 25, 2006] i tried to cancel service twice. the company just continues to keep charging. every month the bill continues to get higher and higher. |
Joe United States/Wyoming/Ten Sleep [Oct 19, 2006] Verizon is very deceiving in their dealings and their customer service. Plans that are actually supposed to save you money actually cost you in the long run. Contract dates are extended. You are responsible for paying late fees when they have sent you the wrong amount on a statement or have not mailed it to you at all and when you try to resolve questions you are treated to so called customer service reps who are rude and discourteous. |
Brian United States/Illinois/Fulton [Oct 17, 2006] They say they have coverage everywhere but what they dont tell you about id their delayed billing. When they use other companies towers it can take up to a month for them get the information on how many minutes you used. Also they seem to have probloems with their voicemails and text messaging, getting them late. Even with all of this they do have excellent reception in most places, i even had reception way up in the mountains. |
Audrey United States/Georgia/Augusta/Bainbridge [Sep 25, 2006] I'm pleased w/ Verizon. Have been w/ them for over 4 years. Wish they would offer an option to start weekly service at 7p instead of 9p. Other than this, No problems, great coverage in the many areas I travel. |
Ronnie United States/Texas/Corpus Christi [Sep 18, 2006] Words won't describe how sorry this company is. I have been very successfully self employed for over 30 years and have had impeccable credit for longer than that.I bought two new cell phones and service from them with the understanding that they must "work" at my local home. They would not work when I got home so I returned them the next day.The rep credited back my credit card charges immediately but failed to cancel the activation contract. I have been harrassed now for over two years by credit collection agencies claiming that I owe them $98.00.I have never seen a bill from them. They also dinged my credit rating.I have spent hours and many trips to reps offices to try to get this stupid screw up fixed, to no avail.I WILL GET EVEN SOMEHOW !!! |
Sam United States/IL/Bloomington [Sep 09, 2006] I am not happy with Verizon, I am tired of dropped calls. Now after having my cell phones for about 6 months I have to spend more money to buy better phones that I can actually hear someone on the other end. Customer service people at the stores are not very helpful and act like you don't know what you are talking about. I am sorry that I switched from Cingular to Verizon. |
