I'ev enevr had Verizon but an identity thief opened one in my name with the help of Verizon! When reveiwing my credit report, I noticed two phoen accounts in collection. Interesting since at the time of the service, I had a sprint phone through my employer. The questionable accounts were in another city and state! I asked verizon about the acct. They said "oh you had two because on the first account you had your SS# off by one number. We corrected it and opened the oher account" THEY corrected it!? Translation, they gave the thief my full SS#!! And wouldn't you know it, another phone account in my name was opened in the same city and state and it too was past due. Of course, they now had my SS# thanks to Verizon.

Verizon Wireless is ok, but sometimes you can get dropped calls. I'm not sure they are the best, but I'd say there better then some. The phones are great and the service is pretty good to. Again, they are just ok.

The promise of nearly universal digital cellular coverage and improved reception as a response to questioning the FCC permitiing the end of analog signal is in my experience, a dismal failure. State Public Service / Utility Commisions are derilict in their duty when Companys like Verizon are allowed to collect billions in service fees and provide virtualy no community service personnel for their paying customers. Where are our elected representatives on this isasue? If we do not hold these companies feet to the fire, then we will keep paying more for less.

How many phones does one have to get from Verizon before finding one that works!! 4 Blackberrys in a row and one worse than the other with Verizon telling me that I can no longer get a refund because of my 30 day period being expired. Terrible voice quality and messages coming in at least 2-3 days late, many dropped calls. They are not so reliable as their commericals would have one believe. Will not work with them again.

have had verizon about 8 years, have had some billing problems, nothing too serious, i don't remember ever having a dropped call, would like to see more competitive rates

I have had Verizon for a little over 2 years. I have heard and experienced that they have good reception--very few dropped calls. That is really about the only good thing. Everything else sucks as far as them tacking on extra charges and adding features I never asked for. Also, they offer detailed billing, but who has 2 hours to sit down, analyze and then call to straighten out any discrepancies? I would switch but I don't think the grass is greener on the other side. Basically, it sucks b/c of the price, but has the best reception. There's a trade-off with everything...

Verizon sucks big time!!! I Purchased a new phone and before the warranty was up the phone quit working so I took it back to the store and the sales person said congradulations this phone is still under warranty and you qualify to get a new one at half price!! lets write our congress and get a law passed that prevents the phone companies from being able to hold you to a two year contract. That just might improve service and phone quality.

I will be going to a different company for my cell phone service. It is unfortunate that you and your company are not willing to give $160 toward customer service. Here is some simple math for you, I am 30 years old and will have a cell phone at least till I retire at age 65. I will need cell service for the next 35 years. If cellular service does not increase in the next 35 years and I continued to use Verizon @ $50 per month, that's $21,000. This equals a loss of $20,840 for your company, and that's just me. There is a saying that one unhappy customer will tell 10 people about the poor service they received.
