Dirk United States/Oregon/Beaverton [Sep 06, 2007] Sprint is the absolute WORST! I had my phone for 22 months, which meant I was eligible for an upgrade. So I went into the sprint store, and got the Sanyo M1 for the upgrade price of $199. They told me I would have up to 30 days to see if I like the phone and bring it back. I took the phone back after only 2 days, deciding that I really didn't want to spend that much on a phone. The lady at the sprint store PROMISED me that bringing the phone back would nullify my 2yr extention, and I will still be eligible to upgrade in the future.
So I walk into a Best Buy, and I see the same exact phone for just $129. As a matter of fact, all the Best Buy phones are $50-$70 cheaper than the sprint store. I go to purchase it, and the Best Buy rep said I wasn't eligible to upgrade. I called sprint about this, and they said that I could ONLY upgrade at a sprint store because I took the previous phone back. And of course the sprint store charges more than other places. Save yourself the trouble...stay away from sprint!!! |

Everytime I was being trasnfered to their "cancellation department", i get put on hold for 30 minutes before i give up. pure insanity. do not mess with sprint...period. |
Dawn United States/Tennessee/Memphis [Aug 03, 2007] This is the worst customer service I have ever received. My bill isn't due and they have turned my phone off. They keep telling me that they have re-activated my phone, but they don't. I have never been spoken to in this manner. I called and "supposedly" spoke to a supervisor in c.s what a crock! She was so rude and arrogant. I hate this phone, hate this service and will definitely be cancelling this crap before the thirty days. |

Charles United States/Virginia/Charlottesville [Jul 23, 2007] Sprint does not let you have a discount afte 30 days and not until 21 months into a contract on upgrading a phone. You have to pay the full cost to change a phone once you have their service. Read the fine print before you sign. |
frannie United States/MARYLAND/NEW CARROLLTON [Jul 04, 2007] I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER OF SPRINT FOR ALMOST 5 YEARS PAYING MY BILLS ON TIME. I DON'T KNOW WHY I HAVE STUCK WITH THEM FOR SO LONG. EVERYTIME I CALL TO TERMINATE, DUE TO POOR SERVICE, I END UP WITH A NEW OFFER THAT PROMISES TO BE THE BEST. IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME PROBLEM. I THINK I AM ACTUALLY WASTING MY MONEY ON SPRINT. THIS TIME, I AM DETERMINED TO TERMINATE FOR GOOD AND IF THEY TRY TO GIVE ME ANOTHER "BEST OFFER", I AM NOT BUYING IT, I WILL SUE THE COMPANY FOR FRAUD. |
dm United States/ohio/cleveland area [Jun 27, 2007] terrible in all ways! had service when we signed the 2 yr contract, but then they loss use of someone elses tower and promised to put up their own. they never did and we have no reception in alot of areas here, but yet they wouldn't let us out of the contract even though they didn't hold up their part of the contract. takes forever to get through to a real person when you call them, and they always promise to get back to you to work out the problem, but they never call. lots of mistakes on every bill too. stay away from sprint!!! |

THEY DON'T CARE WE HAVE 3 PHONES W/ THEM AND THE ONLY REASON I AM NOT SWITCHING IS BECAUSE THEY GRAB YOU BY THE _____ AND IT WILL COST A FORTUNE TO TELL THEM TO SHOVE THEIR PHONES I HAVE TO PUT UP W/ THE WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR THE NEXT 2 YRS. I had phone problems, they said they would replace it, but then after switching three reps they said we had to sign a new two year contract. The last time I talked with a CS rep I could barely hear him for the lousy connection. Don't use Sprint in Virginia. |
Peter United States/New York/Brooklyn [Apr 06, 2007] There are other providers now who provide much better service, better cell phones and better plans and deals. I was going to disconnect from sprint but when I call to do so I found out that they renewed the 2-year contract once I changed the plan and now if I disconnetc I need to pay 200 usd fee for each line. I was never even advised that the contract would be renewed if I changed the plan, I call it cheating. now I am rapped and I warn everybody to avoid this type of misunderstanding. |
