I have had 3 phones malfunction on me and have had to work with a variety of Sprint customer service reps. What a flippin nightmare. It doesn't matter if I am in a store or on the phone, they are nasty, nasty people.
BTW, their insurance company has some of the best customer service I have every seen!!!! |
Drow United States/California/East Bay [Feb 24, 2008] I worked for Sprint at their KC headquarters in a variety of Sales management positions for 11 years. I left Sprint to work for another company in the SF bay area about 6 years ago. I loved working for Sprint and have stayed loyal to them.
I make my living by being on my cell phone and I no longer can continue to be loyal to them.I am averaging losing 8-9 phone calls a day. I have tried different phones. They have tried to program my phones a number of times etc...
The bottom line is that I cannot afford to do business with Sprint any longer. I am calling tomorrow to cancel & I am sure that I will have to pay a huge amount of $ to get out of my contract.
Unfortunately that is how bad the service has become. With great regret I am leaving a company that was very good to me and where I had a lot of loyalty.

Gerald Norris United States/Texas/Houston [Nov 07, 2007] We've been with Sprint in one form or another forat least a dozen years. Three years ago our service was so good that I made the decision to cut my landline. A year later, the service to my house, which had been three-four bar throughout the house, dropped drastically. I have contacted Sprint about this several times, including today, and I wasn't happy with the answer. While my contract is up in six months, I'm not going to wait that long and plan on moving to Verizon over the next few weeks. One suggestion I received today was to dial a number to receive credit for the lost minutes when I have a dropped call. Based on recent experiences I'd be dialing the number more often than making a call. |

I CHANGED FROM ANOTHER CELL COMPANY TO GET THEIR INTERNATIONAL SERVICE BECAUSE I HAVE A PART TIME HOME IN HONDURAS. I WAS TRAVELING BY MYSELF AND ALTHOUGH THE ISLAND WHERE OUR HOME IS IS WONDERFUL, THERE ARE DEFINATE SECURITY PROBLEMS. WE LIVE IN A REMOTE AREA AND EVEN WITH SECURITY (WHO SLEEP MOST THE TIME) A PHONE IS A MUST. SO THEY SOLD ME 3 PHONES (2 FOR MY CHILDREN THAT TRAVEL ALSO) AND THE EXTRA INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM. PHONE DIDN'T WORK.....I WOULD HAVE HAD TO BUY 3 BLACKBERRIES OR EQUIVALANT OF FOR IT TO WORK! IN ADDITION THEY OVER CHARGE ME FOR EXTRA LINES EVERY MONTH, PROMISE TO REIMBURSE ME AND DON'T. No billing problems, no coverage problems (however I live in town where coverage is good. On the outer edge of town it might be different). Three times I have called them regarding my bill ( went over my minutes without realizing it) and all three times they wiped out my overage charges without even asking them to. They even added 300 extra text messages a month to my plan for free when I told them the 100 you get with the plan wasn't enough for me. Never got that kind of service from Verizon! |

I tried to cancel my service and they said they had to investigate it and come up with a decision... well of course it will be in their benefit. Anyway hopefully I will get rid of it soon so I can switch to someone else. Sprint is terrible do not get it. |
