Sherry United States/Virginia/Alexandria [Apr 24, 2007] Nextel is the worst in all areas. The service sucks. Every call drops, I can never get my voicemail, the customer service is a joke. I have complained so many times that That I think they block my calls now. They always promise to credit my bill but never do. They do not give you back your deposit. They want customers to honor their contracts but they dont provide even half way decient service. They blame the no service on "look at it like a highway under construction, its a mess at first but when its done everything runs smoothly"WTF They have been saying this for 3 friggin years now. Everyone I talk to has the same problems with them. When Im in the mall and see someone looking to get nextel service I warn them to stay away. i can only hope that that helps them lose business. |
Larry United States/Pennsylvania/Lancaster [Jan 04, 2007] Too many dropped calls!!! Don't even rely upon using your cellservice while traveling the turnpike or coastal areas. I often have to dial in my password 3-6 times before connected to voice messages and loose service walking across a room in my home. |
Ray United States/Pennsylvania/Philadelphia Metro [Nov 30, 2006] I got Nextel when I was living in Kentucky and have been bound by my service contract to keep it since relocating. I can't wait to get another provider. In Kentucky and Pennsylvania, and on the road between the two, signal coverage / quality are dismal and often none. In terms of cost, Nextel may seem reasonable at first, ** but read the fine-print on your service agreement VERY carefully because they tack on hidden fees to make up the profits.** And unless several of your friends or family have Nextel, forget about using the "walkie-talkie" because it's only good for Nextel subscribers, and you would probably be better off with an unlimited inner-network calling plan on another service. Choose another service if you can. |
mindy United States/FL/Miami [Nov 21, 2006] Since Nextel has merged with Sprint my service has gone down hill too many dropped calls and not enough service or towers and they are more expensive than anyone |
Kook United States/Michigan/Detroit [Aug 15, 2006] The service is great. No drop calls, always have a least 4 bars of reception. Nextel is the best phone I've had. Nextel support is real helpful and friendly and show they want to help. Nextel is the Best! |
Allene United States/Louisiana/Many [Jul 30, 2006] I have not service at all and i really need some service cause i just got some minutines |
Peggy Gist United States/PA/Hanover [Jul 20, 2006] The places you need coverage there isn't any. I bought it for safety when I am out at night and most of the time the phone reads "no service". |
Jason United States/CA/San Diego [Jun 25, 2006] I barely get any service at my house, and it seems like service is slowly getting worse everywherd else. |
Jesse United States/NC/Salisbury [Jun 08, 2006] I bought 4 phones and they sent me 8 plus the 4 I wanted. Charged for all of them. Now they wont refund me my money. Support is a joke. Just not a good service as far as I can see. |
