Cingular is dead. Once the merge of the new AT&T customer service has gone from mediocre to awful. I have multiple lines of service with normal monthly bills exceeding 180.00 and yet after 10 years, they require a credit check before adding a family plan item. this I am told is to ensure that I can afford the extra 12.00 per month. Where else can I go? I am in desperate need of a reliable company.

I was originally with Southwestern bell, then bought out by Cingular and always had great coverage and great customer service.....until about 2 years ago. You call customer service they dont give a crap, nor try to keep your business. You at one time could order new phones by calling customer service, now you pay full price if you call them. They tell you to use the internet for better pricing. You tell them you will go with someone else I was told by 3 customer services reps "thats fine". DONT SIGN UP WITH THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My calls get dropped constantly and there are even areas in my town where my signal drops off entirely and my phone goes into 'emergency service only' mode. I think the plans are too expensive for what you get and the company's customer service is terrible. I can't wait for my contract to be up so I can switch to another carrier.

We will never have you phones again service in coolidge az well there is no service we call cingular and we still have to pay for service we not have we now have a mobil phone that we can call on

This company used to be great. The new AT&T has lousy customer service. I do not believe it has the least amount of dropped calls. I do not get reception in half of my apartment. I can receive a call and after two rings it will send to voicemail. Unless the caller leaves a voicemail, I have no way of knowing they called. There is no missed call showing.

I am a long time user but the service is no longer sufferable. It was ok but ever since they merged with at&t the dropped calls, cant hear the other caller. Lack of coverage, I used to get signal in my house now I have to go out in the street. I have verison for work and it gets way better coverage and does not drop calls in the areas of so cal I am at.

I suffered through a 2 year contract with Cingular. Rollover minutes is about the only endearing thing about them. They should be sued for the "fewest dropped calls" lie they've presented to the public. They can change their name to AT&T, but it's still the same crappy company. I'm so glad I'm free!

PHONE COVERAGE WAS GOOD, BUT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BILLING WORST EVER!! BEEN WITH THEM FOR 7 YRS AND THE PAST 8 MONTHS NOTHING BUT HASSLE, SERVICES ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION AND STILL HAVING TO PAY FOR IT, REPS NOT ADDING THE CORRECT SERVICES I WANTED AND BEING CHARGED FOR IT AND STILL HAVE TO PAY FOR IT CAUSE ITS MY WORD AGAINST THEIR NOTES A REP WROTE HORRIBLE BILLING CUSTOMER SERVICE VERY RUDE, DONT COUNT ON ANYTING THEY SAY THEN WHEN I TRY TO GET THE REPS NUMBER OR NAME THENY WONT GIVE IT WILL NOT RENEW WITH THEM WOULD RATHER PAY MORE MONEY TO SOME OTHER SERVER THAT IS NOT A THIEF AND LIAR I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY AND DONT NEED TO GIVE IT TO A COMPANY THAT HAS NO RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMER!!! DONT GET SERVICE WITH THEM ITS A MISTAKE

Very good! Never have any dropped calls. Mostly have 4 or 5 bars. If the signal strenght is low, the calls are still clear! I reccomend cingular.

I haven't had cingular for 18 mos. While the coverage is the best you could get the # of droped calls was unacceptable and the price was too high even with the dropped calls. T moble may not have as good nationwide coverage but I don't get the dropped calls (if there are long pauses in a call betw M to M in the highest peak times you may get a dropped call but the most of that is the power monster bluetooth headset dropping the link with the pbone). And the cost is much lower $22.00 less per mo. Just tell them M S Ussery sent you.
